Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Directly reporting to the Marketing Manager, with a dotted line to Head of Schools, the Purpose of the role is to oversee day– to– day marketing activities for the marketing department and carry out the duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

 

Evaluation and Coordination:

  • Uses quantitative and qualitative data to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the website and identify ways to improve it.
  • Keeps abreast of website innovations and recommends appropriate enhancements, works with staff and our creative agency to ensure the website’s functionality, navigation and look and feel evolve.
  • Develops content, in line with the content strategy, including images, video and audio.
  • Ensures digital activity is effectively optimised for Search.
  • Uploads regularly refreshed content such as newsletters, stories and the School’s weekly photos.
  • Co-ordinates and evaluates e-shots to prospective parents.

 

Planning, Assisting and Managing

  • Participates in orientation, and training of new marketing department staff
  • Assists Marketing manager with departmental budget and uses financial strategy to share different marketing plans.
  • Oversees the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
  • Interacts with marketing managers to receive information and updates about marketing staff progress and results.
  • Assists in evaluating marketing reports and sales data compiled by marketing staff members.
  • Presents regular updates and information to other department heads and executives

Key internal interaction & Communication:

  • Assists in preparation and deliveries of marketing plans within key objectives.
  • Works with designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines
  • Involves key stakeholders for product at each stage of campaign, and reporting results once completed.
  • Generates and executes marketing campaigns across social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and many more.
  • Generates reports for digital marketing campaigns using data based analytics tools and also presenting this data in an easy to understand format.
  • Sources advertisement opportunities and placing adverts in the press, radio or TV as appropriate to the product or service.
  • Liaises with media, printers and publishers as required and managing the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters, including e-newsletters and DVDs.
  • Liaises with events coordinators to maximise visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions, including compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate.
  • Liaises with the Marketing Manager for various conferences to manage booth, conducts customer interviews and focus groups.
  • Monitors competitor activity and generating leads for products and services
